Meighan Hetherington

After working as a selling agent, Meighan founded Property Pursuit in 2003 to service the needs of property buyers.  Now in its 7th year of operation, the Property Pursuit team has been involved in over 400 property transactions in Queensland providing invaluable experience and expertise to our buyers.
In 2008, 2009 and again in 2010 Meighan was awarded the highest honour in the industry when she was recognised as the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) Buyer’s Agent of the Year.  In 2008/2009 she was the President of the Property Buyer’s Agents Association of Australia (PBAAA).  She is an active advocate for increasing the professional standards and qualifications required for those involved in providing property advice in Australia. In 2009 Meighan was contracted by the REIQ to author and deliver the course – Acting as a Buyer’s Agent.
Meighan is regularly asked to provide expert commentary about the Queensland property market including Sky News Channel “Your Money Your Call”, the Real Estate Talk show on 4BC radio, is a guest speaker at seminars for financial planners and accountants including Snelleman Tom, Mercer Wealth Solutions, AG Private Advisory, Wealthy Frog as well as various mortgage brokers and TAFE QLD.  Her commentary has been reported in The Courier Mail, Sunday Mail, Eureka Report, Australian Property Investor Magazine, Your Mortgage Magazine, and various local Brisbane magazines and newspapers.
Meighan is the owner of the Property Pursuit group and provides strategic direction for the company as well as specific market expertise for the Acquisition Team.
